About Us

A number of evangelical Christians from Conflans-Sainte-Honorine were members of the Brethren church located on Rue des Gobelins in Paris’s 13th arrondissement. In 1958, following the evangelistic campaign led by evangelist Billy Graham in Paris, there were further conversions in Conflans, and as the local community grew, they decided to establish a local church. It is this community—recognized as the very first association established under the 1905 law in what was then known as the department of Seine-et-Oise (comprising Yvelines and Val-d’Oise)—that continues to bear witness to Jesus Christ to this day.

We are Christians:

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only Savior who reconciles us with God as a free gift and delivers us from the power of evil.

We are united through the Holy Spirit with all Christians who have made a genuine and personal commitment to Jesus Christ.

We are Protestants:

We believe that the entire Bible (Old and New Testaments) is the Word of God the Creator, who revealed Himself in the person of Jesus Christ. The Church’s teaching and life are guided by this Word. Thus, we are part of the Protestant tradition that emerged from the Reformation. We are a congregation whose membership is not based on lineage or coercion (as in cults) but on the free will of conscious and responsible individuals.

We are Evangelicals:

We strive to live according to the biblical model of the early Christian churches. Like them, we bear witness to our faith and encourage everyone’s active participation, with the goal of fostering the growth of all members.

 The Evangelical Protestant Church of Conflans is part of the family of churches Perspectives.

She is a member of the CNEF (National Council of Evangelicals in France).
